Lisa Edelstein is an American actress who is best known for her role in House. Fox medical series, House. She was raised in Wayne, in a conservative Jewish tradition. As a teenager, 18, she emigrated into New York City to study at the Tisch School of the Arts. Soon after, she was involved in club culture, causing enough controversy that she caught the media's attention. She used both her musical training and fame to make and appear in a brand new musical called Positive Me. She landed her first job with MTV as host of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. Once the program was over the actress went on to do film and television productions. The first time she worked, she was able to get small parts and established herself gradually as an actor.
